Please be aware during the month of August all patients requiring a routine GP appointment will be allocated through nurse triage.
Routine appointments can be made by phone or in person at reception. You will be offered the earliest appointment available with the healthcare professional of your choice at a time suitable for you when they are available for consultation. Please be aware that our receptionists will ask a few questions in order to ascertain which healthcare professional is most appropriate for you to see.
Routine consultations are by appointment only. If you have 2 or more items to discuss or you feel you have a complex issue please ask the receptionist for a longer consultation. (You may have to wait slightly longer for an extended appointment.)
Please make separate appointments for each person who needs a consultation.
Immediately necessary and urgent medical appointments are available for patients with conditions that cannot wait for the next routine appointment. You will be placed in triage and one of our Advanced Nurse Practitioners will return your call in order to allocate you an urgent appointment with the most appropriate healthcare professional.
If you feel you cannot wait for the next routine appointment please inform the receptionist when requesting an appointment. This appointment may, therefore, not be with your regular healthcare professional.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
